What is the Team Board?

The Team Board is a visual management tool used within a team involved in a large-scale agility program. This is the equivalent of the Program Board team for coordinating the entire program.

 

The tool allows the team to plan the work to be carried out on the upcoming product increment, which generally consists of 5 development sprints.

What is the Team Board made up of?

The Team Board is made up of the following sections:

  • The objectives of PI Planning at the team level;
  • The backlog;
  • The summary table of the functionalities to be implemented. This also highlights the risks of the product increment and the epics and user stories not embedded during the upcoming product increment;
  • A Planning Poker table to estimate epics or user stories;
  • A retrospective section to note things that went more or less well during the previous product increment.
